Lake Stanley Draper features activities such as camping, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, waterskiing, jet skiing, boating and sailing. Facilities include a boat ramp, concession area, boat and fishing docks, four covered fishing piers, primitive camping areas, picnic areas, grills and restrooms. Additional facilities include a model airplane field, boat slips, dry storage and a marina.
The city of Oklahoma City maintains a motorcycle and ATV area on the north side of the lake. Also, an extensive trail system winds through this heavily wooded ORV area located west of W. Draper Dr and on West Elm Creek Reservation. Permits are required and available at the marina. The lake includes 34 miles of shoreline, a lake acreage of 2,900 where the average depth is 34 ft and the maximum depth is 98 ft. The gentle, sloping terrain allows access at many locations. A number of fishing docks and park-like areas are other fishing spots. Waterskiing is restricted to certain areas and swimming is prohibited. City and state permits are required for fishing and boating.
