Operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Washington Cove Campground is situated on the banks of Copan Lake. This area offers 101 campsites with 30-amp electric hookups, two of which are handicap-accessible. A non-electric group shelter that accommodates up to 45 people is available and is also handicap-accessible. Pets are allowed at Washington Cove Campground, so feel free to bring your furry friends. Amenities include drinking water, showers, vault and flush toilets and a dump station. A boat ramp provides easy access to the lake, while a playground offers hours of fun.
