The Barnsdall Chamber of Commerce is a great place to learn information about the city known as Bigheart. The town was originally named Bigheart after the prominent Osage Chief James Bigheart, and later changed to Barnsdall. Barnsdall is home to the world's only Main Street oil well, as well as two museums and outdoor recreation opportunities.
