The Oklahoma State Capitol Museum offers a state-of-the-art gallery space that walks visitors through the Capitol’s history and the work of Oklahoma’s state government. Spanning 4400 sq ft, the museum features over 125 artifacts and 13 exhibit cases. Start your visit with a five minute custom animation that is projected in a 270-degree arc. There are also 20 graphic panels and eight audiovisual interactive elements that tell the stories of Oklahoma politics and the Capitol. See how the building has evolved over time, while also noting impressive artifacts like the quill pen used by President Theodore Roosevelt when he signed the Oklahoma Statehood Proclamation.
