Opened in 2021, the Milburn Center houses the Pottawatomie County Historical Society and local exhibits of interest. Beard Cabin can be seen in front of the Milburn Center.

Also on the property, but currently closed to the public, the Santa Fe Depot, built in 1903 is made of limestone blocks two to three feet thick and assembled in the Romanesque Revival style. The building's floor plan is based on the style of early European churches with a tower resembling a Scottish lighthouse that rises up from the east side of a multi-arched portico. The structure was put on the National Registry of Historic Places in 1974.
