Take a stroll through the butterfly garden at Shawnee's OSU Extension Office and see the abundant life it attracts. In the summer months, many species of butterflies and moths, bumblebees, and honey bees flutter through the garden, stopping to feed on the colorful flowers. Monarchs have been viewed in the garden from tiny and large caterpillars to the beautiful adult butterflies. The chrysalis stage can be very elusive, but with help, you may be able to watch that stage if the time of your visit is right. Officially registered with the Monarch Watch organization, this garden has the official designation of Monarch Waystation #20948.
