Shortcakes Diner is a Stillwater staple serving the community freshly cooked meals for nearly 30 years. Conveniently located just a a few blocks from the Oklahoma State University campus, this family owned restaurant with a small town feel is open 24 hours a day. Stop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner and order everything from eggs to barbecue beef.
You can even see your food being prepared because in true old style diner fashion, the grill is right behind the bar. For lunch or dinner, order the hand battered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and okra or a hamburger served hot off the grill to try a regulars' favorite. They also have daily specials including casseroles, salmon, pork chops and spaghetti.
For breakfast, a Shortcake omelet or stack of French toast is sure to start your day off right. Sample their peach coffee cake or bring your appetite for their signature dish called the Shortcake. It comes with two fluffy pancakes and a side of sausage with a cup of coffee to wash it all down. Named after the restaurant, it's a signature Stillwater meal delicious any time of day.
