Watermelon Boxcar Mural
Painted in the style of graffiti often seen on rail cars, the Watermelon Boxcar mural stands as a tribute to the late Frank "Watermelon" Campbell, former director of the Railroad Museum of Oklahoma. Oklahoma City-based artist Okie Dust crafted the mural in 2019 to honor Campbell, who shared his knowledge and love of the railroad while giving tours of the museum. Visit the museum to see this work of art up close and to witness Campbell's influence on preserving and sharing railroad history.
