The Alva Mural Society commissioned artist Roger Cooke to paint this mural in 2010. “The Supply Trail” features Camp Supply, which supported the campaign against the Southern Plain Indians in 1868. Food and supplies were transported from the railhead at Kiowa, Kansas to Camp Supply via wagon and stagecoach. The supply trail crossed northern Woods County and forded the Cimarron River near Freedom, Oklahoma.
