Jasmine Moran Children's Museum
Jasmine Moran Children's Museum
Come play at the Jasmine Moran Children's Museum in Seminole. This museum offers a unique opportunity for children of all ages to dress up and pretend to be everything – from a surgeon to a pilot – in order to see what interests them.
During your visit, children are exposed to a variety of careers, including a news anchor, nurse, painter, engineer, judge, attorney, fireman, supermarket cashier, scientist, archeologist and construction worker. There are also plenty of hands-on activities that don't involve the workforce including a bubble factory, the Jasmine Ark and an outdoor playground. You can also climb on the 16-foot labyrinth, complete with five miles of cable and 15,000 connecting hooks.
Experience indoor displays like the 13,500-gallon aquarium filled with Oklahoma aquatic life or the "handi-capable" exhibit, allowing children to encounter what it's like to use crutches, a wheelchair and a brailler. Outdoor activities include a half-mile ride on the SuperSONIC Express train to view Seminole's beautiful landscape complete with statuary, ducks, swans, geese and turtles. A 12,000 sq. ft. outdoor castle maze is also open, allowing children to test their sense of direction and memory. Children will have so much fun, they won't even know that they're learning.
