Have some outdoor fun in Bartlesville's Sooner Park, featuring a variety of recreational spaces and the unique Sooner Park Play Tower designed by mid-century architect Bruce Goff. A local landmark, the spiraling 1963 Play Tower was inspired by the space age and the continuous 360 degrees of the Mobius strip. A restoration campaign in 2013 focused on fixing the retro-future tower up for its 50th anniversary, and in 2014, a restored Play Tower was unveiled.
This city park also offers picnic tables and shelters, BBQ grills, playgrounds, a pond, walking path, ball field, horseshoes, public pool and splash pad, disc golf course, miniature golf, volleyball and tennis courts. Guests can also access the Pathfinder Parkway trail system from the park.
