Enid's "Deep in Thought" mural depicts Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in a reflective pose as he gazes into the distance. The mural is painted on a 3D canvas, which has been attached to the side of Enid's City Administration Building. The mural showcases King's contemplative nature as well as his profound commitment to justice and equality. The vibrant colors and geometric shapes represent his ideas, emphasizing his legacy and impact on civil rights and social change. 

Commissioned by the Public Arts Commission of Enid, the mural was completed in June 2024 by the team of Tox Murillo and Terrall Prince. Murillo created the artwork design and painting. Prince is responsible for the design, fabrication and installation of the 3D frame.
