Tulsa Garden Center & Teaching Garden at Woodward Park
Located in historic Woodward Park, the Tulsa Garden Center & Teaching Garden is dedicated to bringing horticultural and environmental education to the community and to supporting, preserving and enhancing the beautiful historic Mansion and Teaching Garden in which it is housed. The Teaching Garden at Woodward Park welcomes visitors in to view demonstrations by well-trained volunteers who share their knowledge and love of gardening with the public.
The Teaching Garden is free and open to the public. The garden areas demonstrate the latest and most successful techniques for growing vegetables, annuals, perennials, woody plants and ground cover. Other features within the park include a Victorian-style Conservatory built in 1924, a three-acre Arboretum with quarter-mile walking trail, a statuary, fountains and pools, multi-tiered historic Rose Garden, and rock gardens.
