Bales Park Trails
Bales Park Trails is a multi-use, 65-acre trail system in west Tulsa that features four bike trails ranging in difficulty from beginner to intermediate and provide fun and challenging experiences for riders and hikers. Located just minutes from downtown Tulsa, each trail offers a unique experience with breathtaking views.
Lookout Ridge is a beginner-level trail that cuts through remnant prairie and features views of Tulsa's stunning downtown. The 0.4-mile trail begins at the park's entrance and ends at The Hub, which serves as a starting point for the park's other three trails.
The second beginner-friendly course is Little Rock. The 0.6-mile long trail runs both directions along the north side of the park. This quick and fun trail serves as the shortest route back to The Hub for riders looking to experience everything Bales Park has to offer.
Bootlegger is the park's only bicycle-only trail in Bales Park. It begins at The Hub and ends 0.3 miles west at an intersection with the Little Rock and the Blackjack trails. Bootlegger is an intermediate-level trail that includes many rollable jumps and fast-flowing berms that wind down the property's 120-feet of elevated landscape.
At 1.9 miles, Blackjack is Bales Park's longest and most challenging trail. The trail winds and bends through much of the parks southern half and includes 220 feet of wooden boardwalk, rock gardens and other features to challenge riders looking to hone their skills.
In addition to the four trails, Bales Park includes four baseball diamonds as well as large stretches of open green space that are available to all visitors.
