Isaac Walton Park
Located where Lake Road ends at the Shawnee Twin Lakes, Isaac Walton Park offers visitors a variety of outdoor amenities. Established after the opening of Lake #1 in 1935, the park features a pavilion, 15 primitive campsites and eight picnic areas with grills. The park and parking lot are well-lit with restrooms available.
Spend the day at Isaac Walton Park swimming and fishing, or bring your kayaks and canoes out to explore the lake. The playground is a favorite for children, and four-legged friends are welcome at this park. Motorized boating is allowed on both lakes with a permit, as well as hunting in-season.
