Black Towns Motorcycle Tours welcomes all riders to learn about the 13 historically all-black towns of Oklahoma. There are three tours available: Red (55 miles), Green (148 miles) and Black (200 miles). The red tour covers the towns of Redbird, Tullahassee, Taft, Summit and Rentiesville. The green tour covers Langston, Boley, Clearview, Grayson and Rentiesville. The black tour covers Tatums, Brookville, Lima, Vernon and Rentiesville. Led by guide Derrick Smith Jr. of Newcastle, these tours promise to reveal facts and folklore about Oklahoma’s black history seldom taught in public schools today. Tours are scheduled on various dates throughout the year.
