During his 38-tenure as a professor and art department chairman, artist Angus Kent Lamar helped First National Bank customers distinguish between their two Chickasha locations. Lamar, a retired professor from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, created an earthy mural of buffalo roaming the Oklahoma plains on the walls of the Grand Ave branch of First National Bank. These painted buffalo help confirm this location as the Buffalo Branch, not to be confused with the Eagle Branch on Chickasha Ave.
