In 2015, local artist Kenneth Hollingshead spruced up the walls of Jim Newport Memorial pocket park in Okmulgee with a fresh layer of paint. Hollingshead created a four-panel mural, each of which represents a local Okmulgee landmark. Walk through the park and view the Orpheum Theatre, spillway, library and Okmulgee High School through the illustrated archways.
