Sisserou's Caribbean Restaurant
Get a taste of the Caribbean islands at Sisserou’s restaurant in the Tulsa Arts District.
Begin your dining adventure with spicy jerk chicken wings, plantain poppers, beef patties, butternut squash or callaloo soup, made from spinach, okra and coconut. Of course no tropical trip is complete without cocktails, so get on island time with Sisserou’s extensive list of specialty drinks such as hibiscus royale, pina colada, daiquiris or build your own mojitos with your choice of custom muddled tropical fruits.
Island favorites at Sisserou’s include stewed oxtail, chicken or shrimp curry, jerk chicken, stuffed fresh red snapper, and the Trinidad Island specialty bake and shark, specially seasoned and deep fried shark served inside a “bake” or fried dough.
On the lunch side of the menu, Sisserou’s offers tropical fare such as Cuban sandwich, curry salad and Roti-a type of wrap made from dough molded around a spiced split pea mixture and stuffed with a curry chicken potato filling. Sandwiches come with a choice of fruit, fries, sweet potato chips or soup, but to truly authenticate your meal, try the street corn or fried plantains.
