Woodring Wall of Honor & Veterans Park
The Woodring Wall of Honor & Veterans Park is a peaceful place to reflect on those who have paid the ultimate price during their military service. This park is home to a permanent 80 percent scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. that stands eight feet high and 380 feet long. It features the names of over 58,000 men and women - including over 990 Oklahomans - who served and sacrificed their lives in the Vietnam War.
The Woodring Wall of Honor also has several smaller living walls. These walls are a memorial to Oklahoma veterans both past and present. Many special events are held at Veterans Park throughout the year, including a Memorial Day celebration, Flag Day memorial service, Rose Day at the Wall and Veteran's Day ceremony.
