Oklahoma State University
Oklahoma State University's beautiful campus makes a wonderful tour for individuals or groups. Guided tours are available each day at 10am or Friday at 1pm by appointment. Magnificent landscaping and Georgian architecture are scattered throughout the university's 700 acre campus. Notable buildings include Old Central, OSU's first permanent academic building; the Boone Pickens Stadium; the Gallagher-Iba Arena; and the Student Union.
Located within the Gallagher-Iba Arena is OSU's Heritage Hall, a museum displaying the history of Oklahoma State University Athletics. Guests are welcome to browse the many displays of memorabilia from the college's beginning in 1890 to today. Items include trophies, athletic uniforms, ticket stubs, photos and more.
OSU has a tradition of excellence in sports and is also home to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame & Museum where you can see Olympic team uniforms, hall of fame inductees and important pieces of wrestling's past. Students' creative work is regularly on display at the Gardiner Art Gallery and a walk through the university's botanical gardens is always a beautiful way to spend an afternoon.
