Tulsa Performing Arts Center presents: Waitress
The Tulsa Performing Arts Center will serve up a production of the musical "Waitress" this summer. Follow the story of Jenna, a waitress and pie chef from a small town. This determined young woman puts her expert pie-making skills to work in order to win a baking contest and escape her unhappy marriage as she pursues an affair with her doctor. The musical, written by Jessie Nelson with music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles, is based on the 2007 film by the same name which was written and directed by Adrienne Shelly.
