Shawnee High School Alumni Museum
For a glimpse of noteworthy memorabilia from more than a century of school history, visit the Shawnee High School Alumni Museum. Open by appointment only, items on display nod to famous Shawnee natives including astronaut Gordon Cooper and former Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry.
From vintage Shawnee Wolves letter jackets and a 1949 letter sweater to Caldron yearbooks dating to 1916 and hundreds of pictures from the 1930s to the '70s, this museum has it all. Peruse the trophies and check out SHS Football Hall of Fame photos in addition to SHS band pictures from over the years. View vintage football, basketball and commencement programs and even a few SHS class rings in the collection. Also on display are trophies won by Patsy Rippy, who went from Shawnee High School to tennis stardom in the 1960s.
