Cruise Route 66 for some kicks in Weatherford. Blast off into Smithsonian-quality exhibits at the Thomas P Stafford Air & Space Museum, which chronicles the career of the Weatherford native and U.S. astronaut.

Attend the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce Route 66 events on Route 66, which is Main Street.  Events are kicked off each year in June with the Route 66 Birthday Bash, which includes the homemade ice cream contest that has 25 entries each year, food trucks, vendors and a live band. October brings the Boo Bash with thousands for the trunk or treat, carnival games, magician, petting zoo and costume contest. The entire city gets involved with this event.  

Feel the rhythm at Southwestern Oklahoma State University's annual Jazz Festival every February.

In December, drop by the first Thursday of December every year to watch the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade. Massive floats, lots of cute kids and several organizations that just gets bigger and better every year.
