Rabbit Gallery
Rabbit Gallery
Celebrating Oklahoma’s vibrant Native American history, Rabbit Gallery in Pryor showcases artworks by Traci Rabbit and her late father, Bill Rabbit. Traci operates the gallery, honoring her father’s posthumous legacy while creating new works in diverse mediums. The Rabbit Gallery exhibits original paintings and reproductions featuring imaginative Native American imagery, nature scenes and portraits.
Bill Rabbit was a registered Cherokee National Treasure, self-taught artist who won numerous awards and recognitions throughout the course of his lifelong career. Bill’s paintings portray Native American symbols and subjects with energetic expression, incorporating colorful strokes and movement into each piece. Bill’s daughter Traci was inspired by her father from a young age. Her work captures the spirit of the Native American woman, mixing fierce colors with gentle brushstrokes.
Rabbit Gallery’s mission is to promote Native American art in its many mediums and forms. The gallery’s gift shop offers one-of-a-kind objects and gifts, boasting everything from Cherokee Society gifts to silk chiffon scarves. The Rabbit family produces the gift line from conception to production and packaging, so that everything is Native American-made.
