Flanders Flowers Mural
The Flanders Flowers mural in Enid, painted by artists Kelly & Ty Tompkins of Hive Appeal, was inspired by John McCrae's 1915 poem, "In Flanders Fields" to honor soldiers. The vibrantly-colored yet somber mural's flowers represent the poppies described in the poem as growing over graves. The yellow ribbon pays tribute to those deployed, missing in action and prisoners of war. Find a moment of reflection at the Flanders Flowers mural.
