Taloka Valley Cultural Heritage Center
The Taloka Valley Cultural Heritage Center in Stigler entertains guests while educating them about the history and culture of the area. Its historical displays are especially relevant for school groups. The replica "board and Batten" barn features a working sawmill and numerous small artifacts.
In the surrounding field is Rust Road, a winding quarter-mile trail where antique tractors and horse-drawn farm tools are displayed. Walking or tractor-pulled wagon tours are offered. By arrangement, tours in a horse-pulled surrey are also available.
The Taloka Valley Cultural Heritage Center also keeps a variety of friendly farm animals on hand for guests to meet. Many active and interactive displays are also being developed.
