All-American Rejects Itinerary
The story of how Tyson Ritter, Nick Wheeler, Mike Kennerty and Chris Gaylor became the famous All-American Rejects begins in Stillwater - the perfect place to start a true fan experience. Stop 1: Brady Theater
Shortly after the release of their first self-titled album, the All-American Rejects recorded live songs at the Brady Theater on May 30, 2003 and released them as a video album called "Live from Oklahoma…The Too Bad for Hell DVD!"

Stop 2: Boomer Lake
Tyson and his friends used to race along the small-town road that led to Boomer Lake. When he was a child, he says, “They had a rope on the end of a tree and you could jump into this torrent of a whirlpool.” Each year the city of Stillwater hosts Boomer Blast, a huge 4th of July celebration held at the lake.

Stop 3: Stillwater High School
Both Tyson Ritter and Nick Wheeler attended Stillwater High School, where Tyson performed in the school orchestra and Nick played in the school band. Before they graduated in 2000, they formed the All-American Rejects, released an EP and sent it as a demo to record labels.

Stop 5: Mike's Bar
The All-American Rejects played some of their first live shows at Mike’s Bar in Stillwater, now known as The College Bar. “This is where the Rejects got our start,” said Tyson. “It feels good to know that you came from that. It all started right there, kiddies.”

Stop 9: The Green Door
Now known as 89th Street Collective, the All-American Rejects played live shows at this local music venue before hitting it big. According to Tyson Ritter, this is the first venue the band ever played. He goes on to say, “I remember there was a line, the very first time a record came out there was a line all the way around [the Green Door].”
