Ames Day
Get the whole family together and enjoy a day filled with old-fashioned fun during Ames Day this August. This annual event includes bingo, a 5K run, turtle races and a horseshoe tournament, along with a pie and ice cream-making contest. Bring out a blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy a tasty hamburger before placing bids in the auction. Be sure to stick around for Ames Day's finale, which consists of a spectacular fireworks display.
