If the stay-at-home orders have you going a little stir crazy, check out these drive-through attractions that you can enjoy from the safety of your car. From zoos and wildlife preserves to farms and drive-in movie theaters, these offerings are sure to help you beat the boredom during quarantine.

Arbuckle Wilderness - Davis

Let the animals come to you with a drive-through safari adventure at Arbuckle Wilderness in Davis. The park, which spans over 200 acres, is home to diverse animals from over five continents. Not only will you be able to spot tigers and rhinos, but you’ll also be able to feed giraffes, zebras, emus and more right from your car.

Shepherd’s Cross - Claremore

Watch as the sheep peacefully graze the pastures at Shepherd’s Cross in Claremore. Overlook the pastures from the privacy of your car to watch as newborn lambs frolic in the fields. Visitors are also welcome to walk along the pasture fence lines for a closer view of the farm.

Drive-In Movie Theaters

Ready to catch a flick on the big screen? Head to Chief Drive-In Theater in Ninnekah or El-Co Drive-In Theater in Shattuck to watch new films showing on select dates. Bring along some snacks and a big bowl of popcorn or call in your order to the Chief Drive-In concession stand, which opens up for one person at a time. Azalea Festival - Muskogee - Springtime

Spot blooming azaleas, tulips, dogwoods and wisteria from your vehicle each spring at Honor Heights Park in Muskogee. The park boasts 40 acres of manicured gardens, as well as five lakes, a butterfly sanctuary and a tree arboretum. Stay inside your car or stretch your legs along the park’s paved walkways to get a closer look at the beautiful blooms during the Azalea Festival.

John’s Farm - Fairview - Various dates

Explore the countryside at John’s Farm in Fairview. This 100-year-old farm invites everyone out to take the road less traveled, enjoy some stunning scenery and take a breath of fresh air. Two tour options are available. Allow 2.5 hours for the self-guided tour, which includes detailed driving instructions, area and family history, a map and more. This tour is for one vehicle containing eight people or less. A crew-guided tour is also available that allows you to talk to the farm crew via cell phone. Book your tour here.
