Celebrate Freedom
Head to Enid this November for a celebration in honor of our nation's veterans at Celebrate Freedom. The week-long event is packed with loads of festivities including the grand opening of the OK Military History Exhibit, a tree planting ceremony, a patriotic concert featuring singer-songwriter Sarah Evans and a parade.
Start the week off by attending the grand opening of the OK Military History Exhibit at Oakwood Mall on Saturday. The event will include a car show, craft show and games like axe throwing and shuffleboard. Celebrate with the official ribbon cutting in the evening then grab a bite to eat from one of the local food trucks.
On Monday, attend the kick-off ceremony at the Stride Bank Center then head to Vance Air Force Base on Tuesday for the tree planting ceremony in the morning. Wednesday's activities include a free luncheon for veterans with keynote speaker Joe Day. Head to the Stride Bank Center on Thursday to see Sara Evans live in a patriotic concert then join in the Legacy Ball and Awards Ceremony on Friday. The week of festivities will close out on Saturday with a large parade through downtown Enid.
