This spring, head to the Fort Gibson Historic Site for the Mounted Rangers Living History Weekend. Reenacts portraying the Mounted Rangers will demonstrate everyday life at the historic military outpost during the 19th century. There will be numerous educational opportunities to learn more about the Mounted Rangers' service at Fort Gibson in 1832. Learn how their equipment and horses were maintained, travel arrangements, military camping, and more. Don't miss this fun and educational glimpse into Oklahoma history at Fort Gibson in April.
