OKC Philharmonic presents: Opening Night with Midori
Don't miss violin virtuoso Midori Gotō at the Civic Center Music Hall this September. A child prodigy, Midori has enjoyed an illustrious international career for over 40 years. "Opening Night with Midori" will feature Sibelius' "Violin Concerto" which has been described as having an unconventional structure and a romantic essence. The second composition, Shostakovich's "Symphony No. 5" is said to evoke a range of emotions, from deep despair to jubilant exuberance.
