Spend a night honoring an Oklahoma Music Hall of Famer during the Merle Haggard Statue Unveiling & Tribute Concert in Muskogee this October. Among Haggard's most popular songs was "Okie From Muskogee," which reflected his pride in the people of the area. Now, a statue of the famous singer will be unveiled in front of the Muskogee Civic Center where he recorded the "Okie From Muskogee Live Album" 55 years ago.
