Head to Guthrie to learn about the history of incarceration on the plains at the Oklahoma Territorial Museum & Carnegie Library. The program titled, "Oklahoma Cabooses: The History & Stories of Oklahoma's Early Jails" will be led by Michael Mayes, National Register of Historic Places Coordinator. A lifelong Oklahoma resident, Mayes has a wealth of knowledge about Oklahoma history with 14 years of teaching experience and as a former subcontractor for historical research and genealogy. Don't miss this unique learning opportunity in Guthrie this November.
