By participating in the TravelOK Trip-A-Day Giveaway, participants agree to the rules and disclaimers listed below. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
The TravelOK Trip-A-Day Giveaway (Giveaway) is brought to you by the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department (OTRD) and its partners and runs from May 7, 2023, through May 13, 2023.
The Giveaway is open to all persons 18 years old or older. Employees of OTRD and its partners, affiliates, and advertising agencies, and their immediate families (spouses and parents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses) and individuals living in the same households of such employees, are ineligible to win. Participants agree to abide by all applicable local, state, and federal laws. This Giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Giveaway Prizes
One grand prize will be awarded in each participating city. Only one grand prize per person may be won during the contest. Smaller prizes will be randomly awarded for selfie submissions on OTRD social media pages. Prizes will be hidden on land that is publicly accessible, either at a public park or a business during its open hours. No purchase or payment will be required to access the searching area. After retrieving the prize, the winner should wait at the spot for an OTRD or partner representative.
Prizes will NOT be buried, although it might be partially obscured from view, and no tools other than your hands should be required to retrieve it. NO DIGGING or damage of property is allowed under any circumstances. Prizes will not be located in a cemetery, memorial, or place of worship.
Acceptance of prizes constitutes permission to use the winner’s name, hometown, and likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity without additional compensation. Winners may be required to provide name, address, email address, phone number, and other information in order to fulfill the award.
OTRD reserves the right to modify or cancel this contest at any time and to disqualify any participant. No substitutions or cash redemption of donated meals, lodging, and activities will be permitted. OTRD and its partners make no warranties, and hereby disclaim any and all warranties, express or implied, concerning any prizes furnished or made in connection with this giveaway.
Participants partake at their own risk and should not display any dangerous or harmful behavior while participating in the Giveaway. OTRD assumes no responsibility for the activity or behavior of participants during the travel to and visitation of scavenger hunt sites. OTRD is not responsible for any property damage caused by participants.
By entering the giveaway, participants release and hold harmless OTRD and its partners from and against any and all losses, damages, injuries, illnesses, and claims and actions of any kind arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the giveaway or participation in any trip-related activity. Additionally, participants agree that OTRD may disclose personal information obtained from participants to third parties and use such information for marketing and other purposes.
