The Oklahoma Aquarium is the largest indoor ocean in the four state region with one million gallons of water in more than 200 exhibits including eight major galleries with more than 4,000 creatures from our world's waters. The largest and most comprehensive collection of antique fishing tackle is also featured, and our Oceans Room offers excellent photo opportunities for the kids along with touch tanks. The most talked-about gallery leaves you breathless as you walk through an underwater viewing tunnel into a domed room while the largest bull sharks in captivity and giant lemon sharks swim beside and over you plus hundreds of other aquatic creatures including stingrays and seahorses. The Hayes Family Ozark Stream exhibit, will simulate an Ozark stream, complete with the excitement of beavers, raccoons and river otters. The Jeanne and Mark Hayes Family Ozark Stream exhibit personifies the late Dr. Mark Hayes' fight for stream preservation and education. For group tour information, call 918-528-1574 or 918-528-1502.
