The "American Heritage Streetcar" has a very special appeal, reminding visitors and residents alike of beloved times gone by. A time when ladies carried parasols and men wore straw hats. A turn-of-the-century vision of simpler pleasures and life in a much slower lane. The elegantly crafted trolleys make getting around part of the fun for passengers of all ages. The Oklahoma Spirit trolley service is part of the Metropolitan Area Projects, known as MAPS, Oklahoma City's visionary capital improvement program. Oklahoma Spirit was designed to provide citizens and visitors a transportation link to the facilities. The trolleys provide shuttle service seven days a week.
