Nestled in the woods on 60 acres near Lake Thunderbird, the Little River Zoo is home to more than 400 animals, many of which you will meet on your personally guided tour. As you walk along natural pathways you will receive an up close and personal visit with the Zoo's animal ambassadors. An educational center whose philosophy is to teach people that individuals can make a difference in protecting our planet & all creatures who share it. Outreach programs available for individuals and groups, as well as junior zookeeper programs for children throughout the year.
