There are millions of reasons to visit southeast Oklahoma this time of year and the Beavers Bend Folk Festival & Craft Show should be at the top of your list. This festival recalls a simpler time in America and that is something we should all take time to savor in these modern times.

East Central University and the Ada Arts District in Ada Contact:
Every poll that rates and ranks the quality of life of an area takes into consideration the presence of the arts. With that in mind, the quality of life in Ada may be off the charts. Pottery… media arts… music… visual arts, just to name a few, are on the curriculum at ECU and the artistic influence has spilled out onto the streets of Ada. So how about a day trip to Ada’s emerging arts district?
