Attend the John Hope Franklin National Symposium on Tulsa's Oklahoma State University campus to discuss reconciliation and learn about active advocacy efforts to heal racial divides worldwide. Join artists, students, global scholars, policymakers and the community during this enlightening series of talks designed to educate and facilitate productive conversations about equality, racial justice and social harmony.

Help kick off the event at the Greenwood Bus Tour on May 25, followed by an opening keynote address by Dr. Michael Eric Dyson. Return on May 26 to hear enlightening conversations by Sandra Quince, Dr. Lolita Buckner Inniss and Dr. Natalia Mehlman Petrzela. Thursday's events will also include a reflective walking tour to the Ellis Walker Woods Memorial, honoring the first principal of Tulsa's Booker T. Washington High School.

The symposium's final day will feature a public deliberation by the Tulsa Debate League, a mid-morning discussion, a presentation by Shariah Miller, a ceremony honoring the race massacre's survivors, descendants and Mr. Julius Pegues, and a community action effort called "Reconciliation in Action." Don't miss this three-day event offering many stimulating programs that are current in the work of reconciliation.
